Wow that sounds terrible.

One time I was at a retreat center and everyone was sleeping. We heard a bat flying above us and ended up beating it down with a broom and smashing it with a flashlight as it made God-awful high pitched noises.

My snake story – I was weeding my parents garden when I was little and accidently picked up a snake that was underneath some compost. Terrible feeling.

I think that possibly the only thing worse than finding the snake behind the bag would be to find it while you were reaching inside the bag.

OMG!! I hate snakes, I'd have been totally freaking out. Bats aren't my favourite things either, but snakes? In my tent?? no way!!
