Oh boy. I did something similar when I was her age and I still have the scar in the middle of my forehead to “prove it”. My mother was horrified that “she’d” scared me. I turned out OK Happy 2013!

Sorry to hear about your adventures; I do remember the days of hurried visits to accident and emergency rooms. It eventually gets better – when children are about 18 or so .

Oh my stars, your poor parents. There surely is nothing scarier than seeing your child with blood gushing out all over the place from a head wound. What a cute story though. Lexi is in an exploratory phase where she is learning new skills, like how to run, jump and climb, but still lacks proper coordination. It is really frightening!

I remember being rushed to the hospital when I was a child. For some reason I decided that I needed to shave like daddy, unfortunately I had no idea what I was doing and before you know it, I had put the razor through my upper lip. I ended up with a couple of stitches for my troubles and a really swollen lip. I remember thinking there was a lot of blood at the time and that mum and dad were panicking. Whoops!

I can’t believe you are writing a novel, that’s so exciting! I thought about writing one back when I was at University, but between looking for work and study I just never found the time. Plus, I am not the most creative person in the world so I’m not certain I would be any good at writing fictional works.

I’m really happy that M has scored a raise. I am certain that you will put it to good use
